As part of the landmark 2023 WGA-AMPTP agreement, writers will now get some bonuses if their project is successful in Streaming… but there are some very important caveats.
Also the “data transparency” hoped for is really a bit of a mirage in the final agreement.
Writers are still not getting specifics on how many people watched a given show or movie of theirs – even though the WGA will get the data, they are only allowed to share data “in aggregate,” with no specifics given on any individual project.

THE DATA
