The Ankler believes that quality journalism should be available to everyone. We are committed to making our website accessible to all readers, regardless of ability or the technology they use to browse the web. As we build our new platform, accessibility is a priority from the ground up.
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards and are actively working to ensure our content, navigation, and site features perform well with assistive technologies across all devices.
Share Your Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on our site, including a video without captions, navigation that doesn’t work with your screen reader, or anything else, we want to hear from you. Your feedback directly informs how we improve the experience for every reader.
Email us: support@theankler.com
We’ll do our best to respond promptly and, where possible, provide the information you need through an alternative format or method.
Known Limitations
We believe in being straightforward about where our work is ongoing:
- Archived content – We are migrating our old Substack posts to our new platform. Some older articles may be missing image descriptions or other accessibility features. We welcome reports of specific issues.
- Reader-submitted content – Screenshots, embeds, or user-generated content may not include alt text, captions, or other accessibility features. We cannot guarantee this content meets the same standards as our editorial work.
Accessibility is an ongoing commitment. If something isn’t working, please reach out support@theankler.com
