☀️ R-Rated comedy lives on NETFLIX!

APPLE plans TV app revamp / YOUTUBE $ back on track / AMAZON sets TV ad exchange for small brands

Mornin! This is Sean McNulty (connect with me on LinkedIn here if ya like), and here’s the Hollywood + Media news to know on WEDNESDAY Oct. 25, 2023.

Where a congratulations goes out to the ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS for beating the PHILLIES last night in game 7, in Philly, to advance to the World Series to face the TEXAS RANGERS this Friday night.

Although – I’m pretty sure World Series TV network FOX is not as enthusiastic about losing the Philly NIELSEN market for… Phoenix.

THEN: SAG & AMPTP will meet again today.

ALSO: Here are your GOTHAM AWARD nominees.

PLUS: Aaron Sorkin left CAA for WME over the Maha Dakhil weekend controversy.

TIX: Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, and Amy Schumer have joined the lineup for the Night of Too Many Stars benefit show for the NEXT FOR AUTISM foundation, on Dec. 11 in NYC. Tix go on sale Friday here.

AND: BUD LIGHT is breaking out the big checks 💰… signing a new exclusive “Official beer partner of the UFC” deal with the TKO-owned league, beginning Jan. 1 (MODELO has been the existing partner beer).

OH: The Wall Street banks who financed the debt for Elon to buy TWITTER are facing at least a -15% hit (or $2 Billion in losses) as they try to lay off the debt elsewhere. Great job everybody 👍, enjoy the January bonuses.

REST IN PEACE: Goes out to Richard Roundtree, who died at the age of 81 this week.

NOTE: Tomorrow’s newsletter will be a little later than usual due to the COMCAST earnings call in the morning.

IN TODAY’S EDITION
