People in show business think they know everything about politics and winning elections, says Rob Long. But Succession’s 2.9 million finale viewers? Those are Libertarian Party numbers! The point being, the political industry — like Hollywood — now fights on the fringes and in the niches of any given base (a.k.a. the audience). Maybe instead of trying to win the White House with 100,000 votes, candidates (and Hollywood) should just go for the landslide.
