Mornin! This is Sean McNulty (connect with me on LinkedIn here if ya like), and here’s the Hollywood + Media news to know on WEDNESDAY December 14, 2022.
Where thankfully IMDB is finally letting people remove their age from their profile, and just in time… I was getting very concerned that you would find out I’m actually a 17 year-old from NEBRASKA doing a very ambitious Senior year thesis project. 😳 I’ve said too much. Also can I borrow $80k to go to NYU next year?

PLUS: Here are your FILM INDEPENDENT SPIRIT Award uh TV nominees. (plus a refresher on the Film nominees if of use).
ALSO: The TONYS will be uptown this year at the UNITED PALACE Theater in Washington Heights, on Sunday, June 11. Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss are EP’ing with Weiss directing. CBS & PAR+ will once again split the televising / streaming.
THEN: TWITTER hasn’t paid any of their office rent in weeks, and according to 2 sources is discussing consequences if they punk out on severance payments to many of the folks they laid off.
AND: Once again lest you have any doubts about NETFLIX and their vision for a Gaming future… they produced, what at HBO we used to call a “Yearender” image spot just for Gaming, looking back at their ‘year in games’ and what’s ahead in 2023. #NinjaTurtles!

James Gunn’s producing partner & DC leadership partner Peter Safran is also a producer on this (script/idea was sold before the DC thing – just the talent addition is new here now). /Variety
