ICYMI, Apple TV was the belle of the ball on Monday, even though hardly anybody watched Widow’s Bay (per Nielsen, anyway).
One last observation before we close the book on this year’s Emmys: Nearly all the acting winners were over the age of 50. Jean Smart (Hacks), Rhea Seehorn (Pluribus), Allison Janney (The Diplomat), Linda Cardellini (DTF St. Louis) and the indelible Sally Field (Remarkably Bright Creatures) all took home gold, putting an exclamation point on the summer success story of Women Over 50.
