When I say superheroes, I am not using the word in its world-captivating Avengers: Endgame sense, but in the tired, overwrought, overused, audience-exhausting superhero fatigue meaning.
The number of sports-related announcements in the past weeks indicates Hollywood has found a new Thing That Will Fix Everything. Throughout its history, Hollywood always has one of these on the shelf, waiting to be smothered to death by the industry’s love.
