Pitt & Clooney teaming up for a new movie, now out for a bidding war
Jon Watts, director of the last 3“Spider-Man” movies is writing and directing the thriller, which is broadly about two lone-wolf fixers who get assigned to the same job.
So, we’ll see who writes the biggest check 💰. CAA is repping the process. /THR

Now the highest grossing US release this year & the pandemic
“Dear Evan Hansen” : $7.5 Million
Likely will hit PVOD after a 17-day theatrical window around October 12.
At a $27 Million budget (after tax breaks), not a huge loss here for UNI.
“Free Guy” : $4 Million ($114 Million US, $317 Million global)
A bit over 1/3 of global total is from US, a bit under 1/3 is from China
“Candyman” : $2.5 Million ($57 Million US)
“Cry Macho” : $2.1 Million ($8.3 Million US)
