Where MADONNA is doing a #JustPlayTheHits tour this Summer starting July 15, and Madge seemingly crashed the back table at the Comedy Cellar to play a round of “Truth or Dare” with some musicians in tow to announce it.
There’s MADONNA in her finest tooth caps making out with Jack Black… DIPLO putting his testicles in his margarita… and Judd Apatow directing a photo recreation from her SEX book. Yes, a video that’s probably an odd way to start your morning (except if you’re MADONNA) but have at it if ya like.
AND: ED SHEERAN, LIZZO, MUMFORD & SONS and JON BATISTE are among the acts announced for this year’s JAZZ FEST in NOLA. Begins April 28.
GOOD NEWS!: You can still just stay at your overpriced awesome Palm Springs AirBnB and livestream COACHELLA on YOUTUBE for free from your pool floatie of choice, as the two renewed their deal through 2026.
OR: Just crash at Bob Chapek’s party pad (I mean what better way to make use of that free time than to finally hit COACHELLA? Who needs Elton John anyway) – it should be pretty sweet given Bob II’s $24 Million paycheck for 10.5 months of 2022 work, and the upcoming $20+ Million he still has coming to him in severance.
FWIW: Bob I still cleared $15 Million in 2022 at the company he officially left in February.
AND: Congrats to WBD where HBOMAX entered the sports streaming era last night! It was a US vs. NEW ZEALAND Women’s WORLD CUP qualifying event, part of an overall 8-year deal WBD SPORTS cut with US Soccer, so more to come. Seemed to go well! And no Ads.

That of course would be Chad Stehelski, and that pic is “Rainbow Six”. PAR sold off the first Tom Clancy / Jordan pic “Without Remorse” to AMAZON in the pandemic, and Jordan is reprising his “John Clark” role from that film here. /THR
At the NETFLIX Global Box Office
usual caveats: back of the napkin math, assumes everyone finished the movie (including the credits), no one watched twice, or that a bunch of folks didn’t rewind certain parts, etc. so consider these minimum numbers. and it’s based on NETFLIX’s self-reported numbers.
“Glass Onion” had another pretty sizable week-to-week fall on the chart, but “The Pale Blue Eye” is delivering some impressive numbers to salvage the 2022 “prestige” slate at NETFLIX…
