MON: Salma Hayek joins Gaga GUCCI movie

WB wins in GODZILLA vs BOX OFFICE HATERS / FRIENDS reunion shoots this week / THE WEEKND makes NFT millions this weekend

Mornin! Here’s the Hollywood + Media news to know on MONDAY April 5, 2021.

Where congratulations to STANFORD for beating ARIZONA 54-53 to win the Women’s NCAA MARCH MADNESS Championship! (I’m calling it that even though the NCAA refuses to let them do so).

Tonight, its BAYLOR and GONZAGA in the Men’s MARCH MADNESS Championship, where I’m just one win away from my bracket…. being busted for the 20th time. You get $$ for that too right?

ALSO : The Weeknd sold his new song via NFT for $490k yesterday. He made $2.3 Million total from the various NFT’s he dropped this weekend. He also donated $1 Million to relief efforts in Ethiopia (both of his parents are from there).

Here’s a Repost of my explainer on NFT’s and the opportunites ahead Hollywood in 2021 here.

Almost one year after the initial intended shoot. /Deadline

Regé Jean-Page not doing “Bridgerton” Season 2

He only had a one season contract cuz they figured they’d skip from book to book each season. Although if this was always the case, curious that this news is just coming out now… /THR
