Mornin! This is Sean McNulty (connect with me on LinkedIn here if ya like), and here’s the Hollywood + Media news to know on MONDAY Nov 20, 2023.
Where it’s nice to see the sense of WTF shift to Northern California for a weekend. Anyone wanna buy an OPEN AI-generated X ad? Should be plenty of inventory.

AND: CBS is already putting on the full court press for its… mid-February return of scripted series. Plenty of TV series promo airtime in the breaks during CBS NFL Sunday. Nothing like a 3-month lead time 🥸.
NOTE: NETFLIX also spent the NBC SNF money (avg Ad slot price, about $880k) on a Rebel Moon ad with additional host-read promo, a month out from release. I also saw a little Leo (Sandler animated pic) presence in the 4p game.
PLUS: Who had Diddy & Cassie settling their abuse allegations lawsuit faster than OPEN AI welcoming back the founder they fired at lunch on Friday? (Diddy 💰 was not disclosed… but guaranteed it’s more than one 💰).
ALSO: Emma Stone is up next on SNL, with musical guest Noah Kahan on Dec. 2.
OH: If you’re wondering when Hollywood spending peaked at its #streamingbubble craziest – looks like Q3 2021 is the winner according to Axios.
