Where folks spent $5.5 billion on ONLY FANS in 2022 globally, +16% YoY.

That’s from a base of 239 million users… a bigger global user base than NETFLIX (although it’s not clear if all of those O.F. users are paying for content on the site – or a mix of folks who pay and others who just visit… but still 🤯).

OTHER ONLY FANS 2022 FUN FACTS:

• USERS: 67% of revenue came from the US 🇺🇸, 15% from EUROPE/UK, and 18% Rest of World.

• PROFITS: $402 million (80% of revenue goes to O.F. ‘creators’).

  • Amount paid to O.F. owner Leonid Radvinsky in dividends: $338 million. Hollywood CEOs, hide your jealousy.

PLUS: Ed Sheeran announced he’ll be dropping a 2nd album this year on Sept. 29, called Autumn Variations.

AND: Remember – it’s $4 Movie Day this Sunday at more than 3,000 participating movie theaters!

🪧 STRIKE FORCE

• The WGA outlined a few key points of difference between what the AMPTP released, and the guild’s demands, as well as a description of where negotiations stand from its POV. Elaine has you covered with the full WGA statement and its chosen priority bullet points about things the AMPTP deal doesn’t cover… curiously including the extension of benefits to ‘writing team trios’.

  • CLARITY: The WGA said that the AMPTP did tell them it would release its ‘list’ publicly after the Tue. meeting… although the WGA says the AMPTP didn’t share the fact that that the doc would be out before the valets brought up their cars at the hotel.

  • So, now it seems like we see if (when?) the AMPTP sets a new meeting with any additional updates/offers on its end to bring to the table on outstanding issues. Otherwise, picketing continues as usual.

• If your movie has an interim SAG-AFTRA agreement allowing you to promote it during Fall Film Fest season… SAG is encouraging you to do so (seriously, it’s all good!). /THR
