Signs of the Times

At the Oscars on Sunday night, much of the industry will be looking for a break from thoughts of consolidation and downsizing, but before the show, the topic will be front and center on Hollywood Blvd.

I can exclusively reveal that media accountability watchdog group Free Press (not to be confused with Bari Weiss’ The Free Press, now owned by Paramount Skydance), which has been campaigning against the merger, will stage a protest outside the Dolby Theatre.

The group will be on site with a large mobile billboard “congratulating” David Ellison with this rather brutal image below:
