What a great episode. Brooks Barnes NYT article was very revealing. Seems piracy is barely a factor when they are making that amount of money on PVOD. And if it doesn't cut into theatrical revenues it really is a win win. And you will always get people on the streamers who don't wanna pay the premium for PVOD waiting for their window to watch.
I wonder how long AMC will get a cut of the PVOD take from Universal. Surely other cinema chains will be wanting a slice after hearing how much Universal has made.
