I'm still not sure this was an "Alopecia joke." When I heard the joke, I thought it was a joke about how buff she looked and almost like an olive branch to the Smiths - "look how well you're dealing with your hair, you look as buff as Demi Moore in GI Jane." Maybe I'm giving too much credit to Chris Rock, but I do think that everyone has bought in way too quickly to "Alopecia made me do it!"
