A great listen/read, as ever. Meeting you at a dinner in Larchmont back in 2005 remains a highlight of my time in Hollywood. Seriously. Your books on my shelf are well thumbed and full of 'YES' in the margins. Thank you! HB

Hugh! My old friend! How lovely to read this. I remember that dinner well, and I think my terrible advice was something along the lines of, Hugh you just gotta wait for a really funny sitcom -- and you wisely choose another path. Hope you're well!

I meant to say this about THIS post rather than the older one.

Show people don't give up because we learn from the beginning that "the show must go on." I thought you were going to say that but it's probably too cliched. But it's true. We don't give up until they kick us out.
