Mornin! This is Sean McNulty and here’s the Hollywood + Media news to know on TUESDAY July 12, 2022.
Where in case you’re wondering why streaming services are increasingly putting more $$$ resources into INDIA (and why I have been writing about INDIA streaming ever since I started this newsletter) - ok yes the #ARPUs suck (Avg Revenue Per User), but the volume possibilities… clearly going in one direction.
ALSO: Lea Michelle is replacing Beanie Feldstein in “Funny Girl” after Labor Day weekend, when Tovah Feldshuh will also take over Jane Lynch’s role. Beanie’s standby Julie Benko will play the lead role for August.
And good news - it looks like Lea’s already performed most of the major songs from the show on “Glee” (YT links in the link)
