Mornin! This is Sean McNulty and here’s the Hollywood + Media news to know on TUESDAY July 19, 2022.
Where it kinda feels like “Place your bets…” is the word to describe the day up until about 4p ET. NETFLIX stock actually went on another small run early yesterday, nearly breaking $200 a share for the first time since early June, but ended up about even for the day at $190 a share.
ALSO: NETFLIX is expanding their limits on password-sharing test to HONDURAS, EL SALVADOR, GUATEMALA, ARGENTINA and the DR next according to Bloomberg.
PLUS: “Get your masks ready for COMICON” seems like a redundant thing to say… but the ya gotta mask up at the SDCC later this week. All attendees must also have proof of vaxx or a negative test so they can get a “Health Pass” indicating yer good 🎫.
AND: Writer & Comedian Jak Knight’s death was ruled a suicide by the LA Coroner’s office yesterday. A reminder that things may be going on under the surface with folks who seemingly are doing well - as I often try to remember: don’t just ask people how they’re doing, but listen and give room for them to answer.
