Momoa’s Minecraft Adventure?
It sounds like Warner Bros. is finally ready to mine the world of Minecraft. Jason Momoa is in negotiations to star in what the studio hopes will become a live-action franchise — if it ever gets around to greenlighting the first film.
Last week's column on WB’s development slate generated a lot of feedback, which I appreciate. One note that mentioned that WB’s lease on the rights to Minecraft expires in January, so the studio has to start production on a movie by then.
