Where my MOTLEY CRUE song selection in yesterday’s newsletter apparently couldn’t have had better timing - longtime MOTLEY CRUE guitarist Mick Mars is in a lawsuit with the group and revealing allegations that the band doesn’t really play “live” anymore in concert - especially bassist Nikki Sixx and singer Vince Neil who both use backing tracks in the shows according to Mick.
Well their Summer tour just went up a notch 🫣.
AND: A happy Easter weekend to those who celebrate, beginning today with Good Friday.
The stock market is closed, and the latest unemployment numbers came in at +236k jobs, with the national rate improving by 0.1% to 3.5%. Seemed to be mostly within expectations, indicating a slight cooling but yeah still a long way to go here for the Fed.
CONFIRMED: GOOGLE confirmed it will integrate AI chat to Google search (no date given). Just putting this here more to aid the research of the future civilization that (hopefully) arises after the AI one.
ALSO: First NETFLIX’s Ad Tier came to APPLE TV devices about a week ago (after an almost 5 month delay), and now DISNEY’s Ad Tier is finally available on ROKU devices (after almost a 4 month delay).

As expected, PASSOVER made for a pretty quiet Thursday - so I broke out my trusted crystal ball (fine, it’s an app on my phone) to map out the next 12-month narrative ahead for DISNEY and Bob Iger as the year progresses, and 2024 begins.
The calendar is based on effects from things already put in place before Iger returned coming to fruition (👋 #ChapekPriceBumps), and how company news will be spun contextualized given other industry trends afoot. Unless we have a several months long strike (there’s a delete button on this website right?).
