The Black List, LAist & The Ankler Partner on New Show, 'Nobody Knows Anything'
Natasha Lyonne, Cord Jefferson and Sherry Cola appear alongside host Franklin Leonard in the premiere episode
The Black List and LAist Studios today announced a partnership with The Ankler on Nobody Knows Anything, a new game and chat podcast and radio show that puts a who’s who of Hollywood to the test. Launching in December, the weekly series will be available on all podcast platforms and will also air as a weekly radio program on LAist 89.3, the biggest NPR station in Southern California. The series is supported by its launch partner, FX.Â
The announcement was made today by LAist Studios VP of Podcasts Shana Naomi Krochmal, The Ankler CEO and Editor-in-Chief Janice Min, and The Black List Founder and CEO Franklin Leonard from the main stage of Adweek’s Mediaweek event in New York during a panel discussion on the rise of independent media. The news was first reported by Adweek.
Hosted by Leonard, each lively and laugh-out-loud episode of Nobody Knows Anything brings together a trio of film and television stars and creatives to take on a set of Hollywood-centric games and quizzes, with each episode revolving around a sub-genre of film or television. The premiere will feature Emmy Award-nominated actress and producer Natasha Lyonne, Academy Award-winning screenwriter Cord Jefferson, and comedian and actress Sherry Cola (Nobody Wants This).
Nobody Knows Anything is taped in front of a live audience at The Crawford at LAist HQ. Jon Cohn, Megan Halpern, Shana Naomi Krochmal and Franklin Leonard executive produce.
