Mornin! This is Sean McNulty and here’s the Hollywood + Media news to know on MONDAY November 28, 2022.

Where this just in - Americans like football 🏟️. Unfortunately that involved a huge amount of them watching the GIANTS blow it against DALLAS on THANKSGIVING… but it was FOX ftw this weekend, even more than expected:

  • THANKSGIVING NFL: GIANTS vs. DALLAS - 42 Million people (biggest NFL regular season game audience ever)

    • NBC got 26 Million for their VIKINGS vs. PATS game at night (incl PEACOCK, TELEMUNDO numbers)

  • FRIDAY WORLD CUP: USA vs. ENGLAND (0-0 🙄) - 15 Million people (plus 4.6 Million on TELEMUNDO)

  • SATURDAY COLLEGE FOOTBALL: MICHIGAN vs. OHIO STATE - 17 Million people (Biggest college football audience on FOX ever, and biggest for a regular season game since 2011)

BONUS: NBC’s Thanksgiving Day Infomercial Parade got 28 Million viewers including PEACOCK streams and the afternoon re-airing, a 5 year high.

AND: In case “Euphoria” isn’t dark enough for you, the Germans are going to do their own version.

ALSO: Remember, don’t be late for Iger’s employee town hall at noon ET today.

PLUS: What better way to start a week than by watching John Candy smoke a cigarette and eat a chili dog… at the same time 🤯.
