You did not include IATSE. There are many highly trained and talented professionals, such as Production Designers, DOP, Costume Designers and their extraordinary crews that are interested in industry news.

Thank you! We weren't sure how many IATSE members were in The Ankler audience. I appreciate you speaking up. We've added a question above 😉. Glad to have you here and we did not intend to be exclusionary.

Amen!

+This immediate exclusion of IATSE here on Q1 does not bode well for support in our own upcoming contract negotiations, I fear. WGA & SAG, you put me out of work for 5 MONTHS, my wife & I lost health insurance because of that. You better be here to support our turn.

The AMPTP put you out of work for five months. As evidenced by the fact that once the companies got serious, the actual negotiations took five days. The WGA didn’t change anything between May and September, so that means it was always up to the other side to end this horrible strike.

Let’s not forget the Teamsters. Not only are we truck drivers and location managers, we are also casting directors that bring these projects to life.

Deneen is right about IATSE, which includes Unit Publicists! I am a proud member of IATSE and SAG...
