Where it was very kind of NETFLIX to put up a sign to welcome me on my balcony as my summer West Coast visit begins.

KUDOS: To Jannik Sinner for winning the Wimbledon men’s tournament over Carlos Alcaraz today to win his first title there, and to Iga Świątek for her 2-set win over Amanda Anisimova in a match that lasted a very Wakeup-friendly under 1-hour timeframe.
AND: SKYDANCE has had “early discussions” about acquiring The Free Press, according to the NYT.
PLUS: Just a little snapshot at the creator economy 💰 — CRAZY MAPLE STUDIO, which is behind the vertical video series site REELSHORT, is hiring a writer for the Vertical Series. The pay? $75k to $80k (plus benefits).
MRBEAST is also hiring a Senior Creative Strategy Lead role, but does not list a salary (even though it’s listed in New York, a state that typically mandates such things).

Well, a kudos to the 20% tracking bullseye folks (the $120M to $130M ones) taking the Superman crown! My fellow 25%’ers eyes were too big.
Although taking a look at the rest of the summer — there are a lot of important comps we should all start putting our eyes on. I’ll dive into that after today’s Top 10 chart breakdown.
THANKS!: To the folks at NETFLIX for the invite to check out my first boxing #FightNight on Friday. Main event probably coulda used a little more action — but the undercards certainly weren’t lacking, and a lively couple of hours at MSG overall.
Plus, it’s refreshing to have a sport where there are no TV time-outs or needlessly drawn-out replay calls to make proceedings drag on: 10 rounds, 2 minutes each, that’s it!
