Where it’s probably good to choose your best window now to tell your parents that CBS is ending Blue Bloods in the fall (10 eps this spring, and 8 more in the Fall season).
Although with 14 seasons worth of episodes… pretty sure you can pop in a VHS of reruns for ‘em and it’ll be fine.
THEN: Happy official beginning of #Year2 to Bob Iger at DISNEY in the 2.0 era - only three more (ish) to go! #FreeMickeyRolex!
What is it with the weekend before THANKSGIVING and executive/board turmoil?? I’m sure tech journalists are just as happy as we were with the timing last year. #OpenAI
UHH💨: Snoop isn’t giving up weed, he’s just selling smokeless firepits. Way to totally keep that cred and pretend to make an important life & health choice involving your family… in exchange for a few bucks 💰 to sell some firepits.

PLUS: The MAX ad-tier is 70% off for 6 months (new subscribers only), at $3 a month, good through Monday (Nov. 27). Funny now the deal-term expiration coincides just in time with the “early summer” return of House of the Dragon 👀.
MAX & DISCO+ lost -1.6 Million subs from Q2 to Q3 in the U.S., and The Gilded Age is its flagship series programming in Q4.

OH: The % of people who say they have $2000 to cover an unexpected emergency is at its lowest level in a decade according to the latest survey data from the NY Fed (65.8%). Also umm - $2000 covers a lot less of an emergency than it did in 2014…
AND: Not that there was any doubt… but U OF IOWA’S Caitlin Clark is still tearing college hoops up again this year, scoring 35 in her latest game, and now setting the record for the most 30+ point games in NCAA Women’s hoops history.
ALSO: The WSJ reminds us that Vegas is now the hub of American sports, a town that pretty much every league shunned any association with due to its gambling core for decades.
F1 race just completed
The inaugural NBA Cup takes place there next month
The Super Bowl is in Feb.
AND: It looks like it’s adding a MLB team in the OAKLAND As, giving them a pro sports team in three of the four major sports leagues (and the NBA is coming).
A feature few major U.S. cities have… in a city that had zero major pro teams just 6 years ago.
FINALLY: The Rolling Stone are doing a 16-city tour next year, including May 23 at MET LIFE and July 10 at SOFI.
IN TODAY’S EDITION:
Who says Hollywood is out of original ideas? There was plenty news around new uh, ‘original’ pics for… Bourne, The Saint, Superman and James L. Brooks all in one day! (sorry James, although you are definitely a brand - in a good way!).
A busy day in the executive suite…
And a very active day in sports media, including Tiger & Rory sustaining a major blow to their sports league #ThanksFlorida.
