Hello my fellow prestige heads! On this week's podcast, my Ankler colleague Elaine Low joins me to explain why such Emmy heavyweight shows as The Bear, Shogun and The White Lotus are so hard to replicate — and why so much of Hollywood seems afraid to try. Then again, Elaine also has a handy metaphor based on a recent shopping trip to Target to explain why some successful TV trends might be poised for a cargo pants-style comeback. 

After that, I had so much fun talking to Seth Meyers about 10 years of Late Night With Seth Meyers, getting heckled via text by John Oliver and why when Dolly Parton asks if she can send people your children's book, you say yes.

After we stopped recording, Seth asked me if being on the Prestige Junkie podcast meant that his show is now prestige TV. I told him yes, it absolutely does.
