'Series Business' TV Newsletter to Launch
Elaine Low will be joined by new Ankler London correspondent Manori Ravindran reporting on the business
Two announcements today. We’re happy to tell you a new weekly newsletter dedicated to the TV industry, Series Business, will debut here next Monday, Jan. 22. Helmed by Elaine Low, Series Business will cover the entertainment TV marketplace for sellers and buyers with news, features and scoops, and arrive in inboxes every Monday. It will be available only to paid subscribers.
We also have a new London correspondent, Manori Ravindran, joining our ranks, who additionally will be contributing to Series Business, covering the international television market out of Europe and abroad.
Regular subscribers here know Elaine, but just to recap: She joined The Ankler in early 2023 after stints covering the TV and entertainment business for Business Insider, Variety and Investor’s Business Daily, and covered the historic WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes for The Ankler’s daily newsletter, Strikegeist, earning a huge following among SAG-AFTRA and WGA members, as well as executives.
She is a regular guest on TV and radio, appearing on CNBC, CBS News, LAist shows Morning Edition and AirTalk, and KCRW programs including Press Play.
(Housekeeping note: Paid Ankler subscribers will receive full access to the weekly Series Business newsletter right here and need to do nothing. If you’re only interested in receiving Series Business and aren’t a paid Ankler subscriber yet, there will be an opportunity to subscribe separately down the road.)
