Thank you for writing this. These senseless deaths are so difficult to fathom and I needed it put into words to process. Hollywood is grieving, and this feels personal in some way. RIP the Reiners.

Even though you’ve made me cry - again - over this and all that you expressed - I thank you for articulating the profoundness of all these tragedies rear-ending our psyches this past weekend. I never met Rob but my “1 degree of separation” friend often talked about what a kind and funny man he was. Was!!! WTF!!!

Your post also made me put my passport away and be encouraged to stay for the fight. So a big thanks for turning it around in the end.

People can laugh about the phrase “light and love” but they are interchangeable and in much need right now. So let’s send all of the recently departed L&L for their journey. 💫✨💛

I never leave comments. But this column requires a thank you - for the perspective, the history, the personal connection, and your own sense of humanity. In light of what Trump wrote today, repulsively, it’s the humanity, and the awareness of Rob’s humanity, that strikes such a powerful cord
