Can anyone explain why marketing costs are not seen as a production cost? Why do we get an idea of the production cost but not the marketing expense? Is this Hollywood's dirty little secret. In any other business, marketing costs would be assigned to the product cost. Finally, how much of cost was Leo's salary?

This is embarrassing. Who invested in it? Did public pensions give up hundreds of millions of dollars at risk and the taxpayer will be bailing them out in 20 years?

In the same weekend that this flop lost investors a hundred million dollars, literally hundreds of thousands of non union influencers entertained hundreds of millions of audience members who willingly watched tens of millions in advertisements…

Hollywood is toast!

Good for WB. They made lots of money this summer. Giving one back in the name of Quality/Oscars/Art/Product diversity/Whatever you want to call it! Is a good thing for the long-term health of Hollywood.
