What’s the best Coen brothers movie since 2000? Is there a signature comedy of the period? And does Christopher Nolan deserve several, one or no slots on a top 10 list?

The New York Times set film buffs ablaze this week with a list of the top 100 films of the 21st century, based on the top 10s of more than 500 filmmakers, stars and influential film fans. Now Richard Rushfield and Katey Rich dole out their favorites — featuring Richard’s niche Swedish and German picks and Katey’s J.J. Abrams Star Trek love — during a Friday morning livestream.
