Where ya gotta love the NY GIANTS going from having no quarterbacks (sorry Tommy 🤌) to . . . having 3 quarterbacks.
Well, at least they’re not on HBO this off-season — actually after the GIANTS overshared so much last year . . . uh, we have no idea if anyone will be on it this summer — but the NFL made a move last month to open up the potential pool to include teams that were in the playoffs the previous season.
Which thankfully the GIANTS do not have to worry about.
THEN: In true Jack Donaghy fashion . . . NBC is trying to make it 2010 again through science or magic — add a Royal Pains reboot with Marc Feuerstein to the development docket!
Or let’s keep the Donaghy timeline alive over at SONY’s SCREEN GEMS, as it’s developing a remake of the late ’90s pic Urban Legend. Think we can get Leto to return?
So yeah, Sinners is what’s destroying the business . . . 🙄
AND: The Golden Globes will be Sun. Jan 11 next year on CBS.
WHEW: CEO pay hit a new record, to a median of $16.8 million, according to shareholder firm ISS, which assessed the 2024 comp packages for the 320 of S&P 500 CEOs we have in.
That’s a nice 7.5% bump from 2023, thanks mostly to generous stock bonuses. Wonder how much of that was sold in Q1 . . . (The S&P is -6.5% in 2025.)
As for, ya know, worker pay — that rose only 4%, just ahead of last year’s 3% inflation rate.
