Well this was a fun movie announcement video. Press releases are so overrated. Reynolds. Jackman. “Deadpool 3” - Sept 6, 2024, now with 100% more “Wolverine” and director Shawn Levy.

PLUS: Clear your schedules in November - “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” is 2hr 41min long. Although hey when you pay that much $$ to make it… 🤷‍♂️#amortization

AND: I’m learning a lot here at the Asia Pacific streaming biz conference APOS, and will have some analysis tomorrow about the themes emerging from the state of the APAC business… but the most used term here by far is “Local Content”. Unfortunately I’m not hearing much use of the word “Profitability” around it.

And while PEACOCK may be a mostly US-only service, it was nice to see the promo team still hitting the floor at our hotel during out breakfast today.
