Re-airing ‘live-ish’ performance specials shot back when Covid was still fresh in our rearview… with Michael Bublé talking about the “tough year” we’ve just been through, and Kelly Clarkson referencing a no-longer-recent divorce and giving away $100k to people we saw get super excited in the moment… a year ago, are kinda bumming me out.
CORRECTION: “Top Gun: Maverick” only has about $14 Million to go to hit $1.5 Billion global box office, my apologies for the wrong estimate yesterday. So the Cruise black AMEX has far less lifting to do the next 2 weeks.
PLUS: Here are the Top 10 Most-streamed songs in the US on YOUTUBE for 2022… ish (clearly Music #dgaf about December), views only counted for videos on the official accounts:
AND: While the new Harry & Meghan NETFLIX docu project dropped its first teaser trailer this morning (it’s down below in the TRAILER HOUSE of course), I wouldn’t count BOSTON CELTICS coach Joe Mazzulla as a likely viewer (thx to The Athletic for sharing this one).
This answer to whether he got to meet William & Kate when they attended the CELTICS game yesterday is rather priceless. Seems like they’re the ones who may need the NETFLIX series…

I do another straightforward breakdown of George Cheeks’ new management structure for CBS STUDIOS and PAR TV STUDIOS going forward… who’s in and out, where, and the layoffs therein.
Though bigger picture, this plus the new MGM - AMAZON structures yesterday raise some questions about what’s the overall cost justification here for keeping all of these divisions… seemingly with the same mandates. A look into the thinking.
