NETFLIX sets Giancarlo Esposito for heist-thriller series “Jigsaw”
The series will span over 2 decades, all leading up to the heist which is somewhat-inspired by a true story. Paz Vega & Rufus Sewell are co-starring.
But each episode will be kinda self contained and jump around chronologically, so you can watch them in any order you want leading up to the finale. CBS ALL ACCESS/PAR+ recently did this with their Peter Sarsgaard show “Interrogation” as well, which was cancelled after the 1st season.
Currently shooting at the brand new NETFLIX STUDIOS in Bushwick, Brooklyn, José Padilha (“Narcos”) is the lead director. /THR
Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings will alternate hosting “Jeopardy!” thru the end of the year

💻 THE MEDIA BIZ
FACEBOOK content moderation is far more lax internationally than in the US
The WSJ strikes again at surfacing FACEBOOK emails & data exposing… pretty much everything we think FACEBOOK is likely doing (or not doing), but had no actual evidence of prior.
FB operates in countries where it has… no employees that speak the local language, and their content moderators spent just 13% of their total hours working on content outside the US in 2020.
Plus many other FB fun facts. But ya know, it’s fine… FACEBOOK is like cars. Or something. /WSJ (subscription only).

YEBBA “October Sky” - Feels like this will be an album a lot of music critics will be talking about this Fall. Super talented vocalist, though I’m still a bit on the fence on the album - but also seems like one that could kinda grow on ya.
