Where a congrats goes out Yuka Saso, who won her 2nd LPGA U.S. Open ⛳️ today . . . just 9 days before her 23rd birthday.
Thinking one could throw quite a shindig with that $2.4 Million payday, although I’m also thinking it’ll probably be much more responsible than the one I would have thrown at 23 with even 1% of that money.
OH: Welcome to the WNBA, Caitlin (somehow this wasn’t a flagrant foul — ya got me on this one).
THEN: NETFLIX has postponed its Tyson-Paul fight on July 20 due to Tyson’s medical ulcer issue. A new date has not been set.
PLUS: JLo has canceled her summer tour “to be with her children, family and close friends.” Remove the kids part, and JLo and I are now having very similar summers — if you’re in Jersey give a shout!
ALSO: The new SKYDANCE-REDBIRD-KKR proposal for PARAMOUNT involves offering common shareholders a buyout of $15 a share, or they could keep the shares in the new combined PARAMOUNT-SKYDANCE company, according to the WSJ.
PAR shares closed at $11.93 on Friday.
Bloomberg also reported on Friday afternoon that the PAR board special committee has recommended this new offer to Shari.
AND: Here’s to the 5th time being the charm for Rup-a-dupes 🍷, as Rupert Murdoch tied the vine with Elena Zhukova at his Bel Air winery this weekend. Although as I just found out in The Sun this morning, I’m with Shiv.
