Where after a month like this, I’d usually think “Well at least this month is over…” but, that would only be if I had any hope that December was not going to be just as worse. Ya know, it’s nice when I can be a ray of sunshine for folks first thing in the morning.
But I mean hey - Santa’s still coming right! Although rumors are that he has to cut 11% of the Elf workforce by the end of Q4, and the Head of Reindeer he just hired in August is already on shaky ground.
ALSO: Thanks to all of you who sent me ideas & things to consider re: my “Glass Onion” biz analysis & breakdown piece last night - I owe some responses still so my apologies, but doing that and trying to understand & explain the AMAZON - MGM changes for today’s newsletter wasn’t the best combination. But time to hit the showers first as you do not wanna smell this newsletter right now - covered in Drakkar Noir.
PLUS: “Top Gun: Maverick” is coming back to 1850 theaters on Friday for 2 weeks so… yeah that should solve things. I mean hey why not - $60 Million to go to hit $1.5 Bil. Sure Cruise is good for $10 Mil in tickets. Pic hits PAR+ on Dec 22.
AND: The final 2 weeks of SNL for 2022 are up. Wait - are we sure these aren’t reversed?

ALSO: The OSCARS will restore the 8 awards cut from last year’s show, making for a full 23 categories. Well that should turn the ratings tide.
THEN: Elon ended oversight of Covid misinformation on TWITTER. “Yeah I dunno why all the major advertisers are leaving either boss 🤷♂️… Nice office PJ’s by the way!”
OH: And the $8 a month TWITTER Blue launch has been postponed yet again, this time from Friday to… yeah I really don’t care.
