Where for those keeping track at home - that’s DISNEY ‘yea’ and NETFLIX ‘nay’ on supporting APPLE’s Vision Pro headset with a custom app.
HOWEVER: The U.S. Justice department also seems to be a pass… as it is reportedly bringing an anti-trust suit against APPLE as soon as March, according to Bloomberg.
Man, APPLE just can’t seem to get a break in the courts - I mean what is it doing that upsets people so much? Oh right!🤦♂️ Still taking 27 to 30 cents of every dollar that comes into businesses on its app platform…
AND: The Critics Choice Awards got one million viewers on The CW Sunday night, up about 100k from last year.

NICE: PLUTO struck a deal to stream every Super Bowl ever on a new FAST channel called “NFL Super Bowl Classics” in advance of the big game this year (on CBS… which may also get some promo time on the channel). I’m in for this 👍.
UH…: According to an internal META document from 2021, about 100,000 minors a day were being sent images of adult genitalia or other sexually abusive content on IG and FB. That’s 100k kids… a day.
The “People You May Know” algorithm itself “contributed up to 75% of all inappropriate adult-minor contact” according to one FB employee in 2021, and the company refused to adjust the setting for minors.
