☀️ YOUTUBE $ Growth Returns; WB's Summer 💰Saved (for now)
SNAP stock drops -19% on Q2 report / AMAZON goes Theatrical again in Q4 / NETFLIX Foxx pic a no-show
Mornin! This is Sean McNulty (connect with me on LinkedIn here if ya like), and here’s the Hollywood + Media news to know on WEDNESDAY July 26, 2023.
Where we have sign #36 that Studios are moving back to “the old model” (whose idea was it to leave again?), as recently removed PAR+ series Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies is now available for digital download, or as we used to call it, the DVD window (for the record - an actual DVD set will come out on Nov 7 as well 💿).
It’s $3 an episode, or $20 for the 10-episode season on iTunes, AMAZON etc. to watch at your heart’s content, and I hear this cutting edge format pays something called a… “residual” 🤷♂️. Rally the fans, talent! Err. Well, once the strike is over.
AND: The Fed holds their monthly meeting re: interest rates this afternoon.

ALSO: My apologies to director Yorgos Lanthimos for swapping in an “n” there yesterday. Know that your Greek Wakeup readers have your back.
REMINDER: Tomorrow’s Wakeup will be out later than usual due to the AM COMCAST Q2 call.
